Griffin

Griffins are rather peaceful creatures despite their size, although they can easily be provoked. They can travel long distances without taking any breaks. When with a partner, they will take turns when hunting. Griffins have a great sense of hearing which protects them when asleep, as even the slightest unusual noise will wake them up.

When provoked, Griffins will attack. They are very strong and will grab their prey, carry it up the sky and let it fall to the ground. They will also attack with their beak, with which they can make some serious damage.
Griffins also have non-retractable claws which they use to grab and carry their prey. They usually don't use them for fighting but to hold down their prey to the ground.

Habitat
Griffins mostly live in mountain areas. They mostly live together with their partner and will take turns when it comes to hunting. Then they will travel many kilometers so that nearby prey doesn't thin out.
Diet
Griffins often feed on fish, but they will also feed on other creatures or carcasses they find and are able to carry.
